WOYWW 158

Argh!   I am so excited yet so mad at myself for buying two big things on my credit this past month but but but it was so amazing I had to!    Do you see the first item?  Yes I got that wonderful Copic Ciao set for 42% off on Ebay!  NEW!  (they still have a couple sets left!)  The only problem is the case was cracked-oh whoopee!  I can now get rid of my LetraSet Pro markers, that I found were not as easy to use, and now have a nice big set of Copics.  (I only had a couple markers before, hmm save the duplicate colors for blog candy some time)  Now, to learn all the wonderful uses!  (No, I just barely know how to really use them)  I also got two Copic books this week to try to learn techniques.  So stoked!  Must go get more white heavy card stock!

The second item I didn't realize did not make it into the photo, but all you would have seen was a cardboard box with a tote bag in the top.  Yea, I got the Papertrey Ink Stamp-a-Faire set.  Oh what did I get myself into with that! A full day of challenges and projects-whew I ope I can do it.  I toyed with sending it back, but geesh, why?  Will I use it, sure thing, will I like it, you bet, can I afford it, yes I really can, I just feel guilty spending that much.  Ah -how do you spell it in French, say la vie?

I am going to try something new this week.  I hope to visit everyone who's WOYWW # ends in the same number as mine, noticed this on another's post, what a terrific idea!  I will also try to visit everyone who visits me, so let me know your # too!!

Hi Kemma,

You go girl! I don't have any copics yet and kind of squirm at the price - but it does sound like you got a GREAT deal! Congrats. I know the feeling though - that item that's hard to resist...... hee hee

Thanks for visiting me already!!!

Happy WOYWW

I much prefer copics to promarkers and although I have many more of the latter it is always the copics I go for. I see they now have some with flexible heads like the copics but I haven't triedthem yet.

I do feel guilty sometimes about what spend on crafting but hey, I don't smoke, I'm not really into fashion, can only wear flat (boring) shoes and can't be bothered to keep changing my stuff from handbag to handbag - so as long as the kids don't go without, what the heck? TFS Happy WOYWW Cindy #39 PS I do the 'ones that end with the same nos as mine' thing as well. Keeps it random!!

Enjoy your Copics!!! They are very addicting, lol! I started out with Ciao sets A & B, and then added to my collection with the Sketch. I now have them all, but it took a long time. For the labels, I used the Stampin Up circle punch (from the bitty punch collection) on label sheets (self-adhesive), and hand wrote the color number. I was getting so frustrated looking on the side of the box, which is NOT in any kind of order. Drove me crazy!!!!

When I was learning, I watched YouTube videos, especially those by Suzanne Dean. She's amazing and very good as showing things step-by-step. Good luck!

Have fun with your copics. I'm a promarker girl myself but I have started attending a monthly copics class to learn the basic principles xx

Exciting goodies to play with! I like the idea of visiting all the 3's as well, I'm still trying to cram everything in randomly but it's not very efficient, lol.

Awesome goodies! Lovely stash of copics you have now :D.

This will be my first year at Stamp-A-Faire so I have no idea what to expect. I found PTI at the 2010 CHA Supershow because my sister made me stand in that line lol. Thank you for visiting my blog! Happy (belated) WOYWW!! #111

Oh that set of markers is yummy! And 42% off to boot. OF COURSE you had to buy them. You would have beaten yourself up not to. I can't comment on the PTI thing, not knowing at all what that is about. I can say I've tried that visiting people with the same last number as mine and it is great-you get to visit different people than you usually would.

Enjoy your new goodies. I have some promarkers, but lots more copics (prefer them - easier to use) - Hazel WOYWW #82 x

Lurvely new toys to play with, Kemma! Have fun! A bit of retail therapy for you, and a bit of exercise for your credit card never did anyone any harm once in a while lol!!

Thanks for your smashing comment on my blog - so glad you like my zentangles and ATCs. I also missed the actual swap because I wasn't well enough, but I asked if I could swap with anyone, and several people have offered to swap with me. I'd love to swap with you too if you'd like to, and I am sure other people would too.

Sorry to be so long responding but I've been having problems with my comments awaiting moderation not being visible - it turns out it's a Blogger/Firefox problem since the latest Firefox upgrade, so I'm temporarily using IE till they sort it out - hopefully soon!

Happy belated WOYWW,

I'm horribly late, but so what!!
YOur new Copic collection looks very at home already, and clearly you plan to have a lot of fun with them, so it's cool. The problem with the spending is the guilt. And the problem with guilt is that if you learn to get over it, there'll be no stopping you!!

Hi Kemma, and thanks for your comment! I'm so glad you'd like to swap with me. I will email you my address, but please be patient as I'm frantically busy this week preparing for a craft show on Saturday, and after that I'll probably crash with exhaustion, so it may take a while!

Fortunately I've now got my comments back on Firefox, but there's been a tremendous backlog, so sorry about the delay in replying. I think I'll just about catch up in time for the next WOYWW lol!

Sorry Kemma - just realised you asked a question about swapping ATCs - I'm not organising anything, just offering to share with anyone who wants to. I was very sorry to miss the official swap, especially when I saw the goodies winging their way around the world! I just wasn't well enough at the time to take on anything else - and now I'm so busy! We'll get there in the end, though!

Ooops Kemma, sorry, me yet again! I've just spotted your other comment!! (Just put my vaguaries down to M.E. brainfog lol!) Of course you can use the image about the word verification. I made it up from a couple I found online. Hopefully the trend will increase away from word verification because since Blogger changed it, it's got a lot harder to read, and with blogger failing to load properly a lot of the time, having that extra step can be a real pain. Since I started my blog over 2 years ago I think I've had 2 or 3 spam comments, max. Modding is the way to go!
