Here is my entry for this challenge:
This is my blog of paper crafts. I enjoy making cards and all kinds of paper crafts, especially ones that can be useful! And I do use most of the ones I make. I also enjoy making cards for challenges, because it gives me motivation and inspiration on designs.

Cricut Circle Monthly Challenge August 2011
Here is my creation for this challenge
I wanted to make something useful, so this will be the door sign on our door at Michael's graduation party next year. I left some room on the building to put the year, in case I decide to later.
The Challenge: Create a project of your choice utilizing your Cricut Cut Images to create a scene! (You are not required to use it, but your latest Circle Exclusive cartridge, Pop-Up Neighborhood, has tons of great images for building a scene!) Your project must include atleast 2 different Cricut Image Cuts.
Rules and Guidelines: Circle Blog Challenges are open to Cricut Circle Members only. You can create any type of project you would like (tag, altered project, mini album, etc.) but your project must be newly created for this challenge and include atleast 2 Cricut Image Cuts. You must submit a project to be entered into the Challenge Prize Drawing.

Here is the letter My Pink Stamper received:
"I really need your help along with the your followers. Long story short. I am a nurse at the Medical of WI in Plastic and Reconstruction dept. We specialize in the forefront in reconstruction for breast cancer. Women from all over the country come to us. This year I/we decided to sponsor the breakfast for breast cancer survivors. 1500 women who have had breast cancer or who are actively dealing with it now will attend this breakfast before the run/walk.
Every year prior to this year I have made something for the women and handed it out at the end of the race/walk. To my astonishment people would be grabbing-pushing aside other women and men to get what I was handing out. Ex: white and pink chocolate covered Oreos, wrapped pink and white M&M's mini bags. TO my astonishment again the cancer survivors really didn't receive what I made.
Well this year, the breakfast will be catered by one of the best chefs in Milwaukee. I feel it is an honor to sponsor this. Where you come in - Please if one person could make a card to support uplift make someone smile. It would make their day. The card would be placed at their seat. Please Please help!
I would be happy to give my address if you could ask people to help me with this. Just 1 card - 1500 Pink Stamper followers. The Breakfast is on September 28th.
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Kathleen Mortl RN,CPSN

CHA Pennant Contest Entry
I put the most work into this than I have for any challenge so far. Quite elaborate I think :)
I didnt win but I did see a glimpse of it on a webcast!
The Cricut Circle Team is excited to meet all the Circlets at the ROADTRIP TO CHA crop on Friday, July 22nd.
Although the event is full, the Cricut Circle Team has two ways for everyone in the Circle to participate—this includes attendees.

1. Provo Craft will be having a pennant contest. The ‘pennant’ you are creating is a way for you to showcase your state, country, or providence. (See a sample at the top of this post.) We will be using all the pennants to decorate the room and make one giant banner.
The requirements include:a. Theme:
The pennant should be your representation of the state, providence or country of your choosing.
b. Pennant Size and Shape
The pennant shape is from the BIRTHDAY BASH CARTRIDGE. The ‘pennants’ that can be used are in the <font> section on pages 58-70. Please use a ‘fit to page’ for a 12×12 inch piece of paper. Pennants larger than 12×12 will be disqualified.
My red hat
So I have been doing a little research, and been thinking about joining the Red Hat Society, I am almost old enough :D
I also needed to find a hat to wear to a tea party themed wedding shower this weekend. Well I had this plain red felt hat, so I thought, I love to do paper crafts, it needs paper flowers!
First I did this
But THEN I read Megan's blog
http://www.aboverubiesstudio.com/free-goodies/prizes-and-giveaways/paper-layerz-flower-shoppe-project-and-day-7-of-giveaways/4033/#comments
and got inspired to try the Flower Shoppe cart that I got, that I was struggling to make look right. Wow, now look at the hat:

Let's Face it Friday - Our Furry Friends August 19, 2011, plus others
9/7/11 update! My second win-woot!!! It was a random winner, but still exciting none the less. I just love ribbon!
http://reasonableribbon.blogspot.com/2011/09/challenge-30-winners.html
Here is another fun challenge.
Create a project using animals as your main theme! Easy peasy!
THE RULES:
http://peachykeenstampschallenge.blogspot.com/2011/08/lets-face-it-friday-our-furry-friends.html
And for this one
http://thepapervariety.blogspot.com/2011/08/new-challenge.html to include ribbon (or other types of threads)
And for this one
http://colorthrowdown.blogspot.com/2011/08/color-throwdown-155.html
because of the colors, which are a little hard to see, the espresso is in the ink on the puppy, the rose red and kiwi are in the flowers, and the banana is in one of the butterflies at the top
and for also this one http://reasonableribbon.blogspot.com/2011/08/challenge-30-okkeep-it-clean-theme.html Keeping it clean, is my interpretation of the small amount of elements, therefore its not too busy and "clean"

I cut the Vacation word and the fire from Designer Calendar and the interstate sign from the Cricut Sampler, but the numbers came from Designer Calendar. I had the stickers, most are from Creative Memories. The journal says:

-----------------------------
Random.org chose...
http://peachykeenstampschallenge.blogspot.com/2011/08/peachy-keen-stamps-sketch-challenge-59.html-----------------------------
I used the bow from my retired cart Beyond Birthdays as the top element :) and pretty much followed the Peachy Keen sketch, plus used a berry cut from Simply Charmed and the word berry as well.
This card qualifies for the following challenges:
Peachy Keen Stamps :: Sketch Challenge 58
Throwback Thursday Challenge ~ Episode 230
***Use ANY "RETIRED" Cricut cartridge of YOUR choice! You can see a list of "Retired" cartridges HERE! IF you do NOT own a retired cartridge, just use any OLDER cart that you own!
and Tacky Tuesday Challenge #9
So the cut for this month is a "berry/fruit" cut, you can use any "berry/fruit" from any Cricut cart that you want, svg files are fine too. You must use the word "berry" in your sentiment.
