MAG Challenge #34 and Challenge #42: Pen or Marker Work or a Sun

I was surprised this week, that one design would fit for two challenges.  I wonder if these two are in cahoots lol!

Here is my design:

Every cut is from the cartridge, I welded the shadow, mirrored to make it into a card.  On layer1 I cut the base flower at 5 inches and then set up in Gypsy another layer and did one with the Cricket Markers at 4.5 inches on top of it.  I think I got it lined up pretty close.  I also used the inside of layer2 instead of the image you would expect.  The circle face is layer3.  Had to use my peachy keen face stamps!  I added some super tiny i-rocks in the smile edge, white gel pen on the eyes and stitching.  Distress ink all over, and of course embossed the dark pink, and lightly brushed distress ink over it to bring out the embossing.  Add a little bow and bingo!

In case you wonder what the details of the challenges are:

Challenge #34/ New Design Team

Happy Friday!  We are so excited MAG has a Design Team:)  Thanks to everyone that participated in last week's challenge!!!http://magchallengebythepage.blogspot.com/

Just a few reminders about the rules of MAG Challenge:  for this challenge you can only use the images on  the selected cartridge and page!  No other pages or catridges, not even card bases.  ONLY the specified page and images on that page, that is what makes MAG unique and truly a challenge!!  However, you can use all your wonderful embellishments!!!

Our winner for Challenge # 33 is Shen selected by random.org!!!!  Congratulations your name will be entered into our monthly drawing.   Send us your email to receive your winner's badge!! This month we are giving away a $15 gift card to Michael's or Joann's!!!
