Been a bit since I posted. Had two weeks in hot and sunny PA for vacation and the pre and post vacation activities have really taken up the time. There are still remnants of the PaperTrey Ink Stamp-a-Faire activities on my desk...I need to clean that up.
Not much going on right now with paper crafting, though I got this lovely box in the mail when I returned full of Pink Paislee stuff, so much happier with this grab box than the one I got last time from another company.
Another thing of note, they are having Copic certification classes near here in October and I have signed up! Should be lots of fun!

This is my blog of paper crafts. I enjoy making cards and all kinds of paper crafts, especially ones that can be useful! And I do use most of the ones I make. I also enjoy making cards for challenges, because it gives me motivation and inspiration on designs.

WOYWW 163
Things have been quite busy here getting ready for vacation. Sorry for not posting regularly. Here is what is on my desk this week, I am getting ready for Papertrey Ink's Stamp a Faire
I have my huge box of goodies there on my desk all ready to go. Printed out the supply lists, think I prety much have everything that is needed, and if I dont, well no big deal. I am not yet sure I want to wake up on Saturday morning at 7am, and we want to hit the farmer's market, so my plan is to get up about 8, do the 7 and 8 am projects, hit the market, come back and catch up and make cards the rest of the day!
Anyone else participating in the Stamp-a-Faire? Would love to chat during the day with you! Leave me your email addy in your post (stupid blogger doesnt give me any way to reply directly to your comment) or email me directly at (remove spaces of course, you know) mykemma at gmail dot com.

Lots of stuff going on this week in the workspace. Went to an Iris Folding Card class at this public library Monday, results there are the green and purple cards on the edge. Katie got a blue ribbon on her flower for the father daughter dance, which she gave to me instead of throwing away (why she didn't want it for her stash, I don't know) am starting a card design (my sticky note and blue card base sitting there) for my Cooking with Cricut Design Team project. do you see what is there in the middle of my desk? I got a few of the new Ranger Distress Markers! I haven't used them yet. I got some new stamps there stacked on the left side, and the box under my paper cutter is the box for Michael's graduation announcements that I have also begun work on. Ooooh, I have to show you how they are coming together. Here is the card closed:
I hope you can tell it's a grad hat. :)
And here is what it looks like open! Since Michael is a graphic arts major, he is designing the inside with a fun poem I gave him and the details of the open house. I found this idea on youtube and just ran with it.
I just love this idea, and surprisingly, Michael likes it too! I am not yet happy with the tassel, that is going to need a few more prototypes. I didnt really want to use a larger brad and the string just comes out from around the brad too much. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated, or if you just had fun looking, thanks for stopping by!!
Many thanks to Julia at http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/ for starting this wonderful project.
p.s. yes I know my post says Tuesday, but it's Wednesday where Julia lives and almost Wednesday here lol! Close enough and my desk won't change between now and a few hours from now as I am going to bed!

Hello again from Indiana-better late than never~! Lots of folks liked my new tower for paper last week and I wanted to share where I got it. I got it from http://cameronstoyz.com/ and just love it. I now have it filled with paper!
Here is what we have on the desk today.
Got some new stamps and got them all into cases and stamped into my stamp album. I had sort of sorted them but that categorization isn't really working really well, the "uncategorized" seems to be taking up half the book. Hmm, I need to clean up the desk some. I have ran out of space on my shelf that I was putting the rubber stamps, and need to add another one. There is the start of a new project under the stamp album.
I found this reading Ohhh Snap's blog who then led me to find Julia's Stamping Ground where the chaos begins!

WOYWW 137, my first
This week's focus has been on working on my submission for the Above Rubies Design Team so you cannot see any of my finished projects, but you sure can see my mess! I got a new set of Martha Stewart Punches that I now have to figure out how to redo my wall, there is no more room for any more punches! I do have another curtain rod, but oh where to put it? I also went to a mini valentine class and have the items from that on my desk as well.
This craft half of the room (the other half is my work office!) has been in constant flux the past 6 months as I add more and more stuff, move things around to find a better working posture, and try to make my crafting area more usable to me. I really like having this area downstairs. (I have an entire bedroom upstairs called the Sewing Room that has the sewing machines, basket making stuff, spinning wheel and related stuff in it, oh nuy the loom is actually downstairs here in my office lol)
My craft space consists of two desks, here is from the right side. I pulled the chair back out of the way
Here is from the left side.
I have two boxes of scrap I need to go through.
