Butterfly Award!

Today on one of my blog posts I received a little note from Shari.  She had an award for me!  I had to find out more!  It looks like this is sort of the pass it on/pay it forward little ray of sunshine type of award and I want to spread the love too!  Of course, I was curious so I clicked Shari's to go back to where she got it, and then back to where that person got it, back and back and back, looking to see if there was more about this award.  I got back half a dozen folks and encountered a email link instead of a web link. Not to be deterred, googled and found the blog, and kept back linking, trying to find the origins of this award.  Wow, I couldn't find the beginning!  I sure did see some wonderful blogs though!  This beautiful butterfly has been fluttering all over!  Now on to the award!
I'd like to thank Shari at Shari's Cricut Circle Madness for awarding my blog the "Butterfly Award"!

To accept the award, I must answer the following questions and then pass the award on to 10 other blogs (who should also pay it forward).

1. Name my favorite color -RED
2. Name my favorite song - You can call me Al-Paul Simon comes to mind.
3. Name my favorite dessert - Kroger iced sugar cookies
4. What 'wizzes' me off at the moment? a dirty bathroom
5. My favorite pet - my Shih Tzu Lily
6. Black or white? black, it doesn't show as much dirt!
7. Biggest fear - really small tight enclosed spaces
8. Best feature - I am always willing to help, well, most of the time.
9. Everyday attitude - what can I make now?
10. What is perfection? to be fully pampered
11. Guilty pleasure - Godiva Chocolates
12. When I am upset I... -get cranky

Cricut Circle September Magazine Challenge

SEPTEMBER ECHO PARK CONTEST!

For this challenge I had just recently finished making my banners for the Cricut E2 contest and was still in the mood to create a banner and wanted one for myself in my craft corner.  I had some lovely Echo Park paper in my stash and away I went!!

Here is what it looks like up on my shelf, I actually have them spaced a little farther apart, but to get them nicely in the photo, I slid them closer together.

Here is a closeup of the fun saying at the beginning
It says "Gone Buggy" on the first pennant,  "do not douch my stuff" on the yellow second pennant, and "it will confuse me & screw up my world" on the third one.  After that I do a pennant for each letter in KIM'S and then "play area" at the end.

The Paper is Echo Park and is wonderful to cut on the Cricut.  I embellished each pennant with all kinds of random stuff I already had in my stash.  Stuff came from Creative Memories, Above Rubies Club Kits, Archiver's, JoAnn's, and some was given to me by friends.

The challenge

We love Echo Park and the fun collections they are constantly creating. We would like to invite you to use any of their collections in this challenge. Create something with your favorite Echo Park Paper or stickers and your favorite cartridge.

Please upload a working link or picture of your project  to the blog under the Magazine Challenge tab. Please, one entry per person.
